Highly recommended for rest and relaxation. All in all - had a good 2 night stay. We had the twin room and it was warm with 2 queen beds.
Pity, but the beds were noisy.

Strategic setting in the shopping area, not far from sun moon lake and restaurant. Incredibly comfortable cozy rooms with 2 queen beds and the bedroom and heater. Good choice of goodies for breakfast.

Location was great for new year’s fireworks and noise level was low considering the crowd outside. Room had basic amenities like clean towels and sheets. There was free breakfast at a nearby restaurant which had a decent selection of food.
The room was small and not very clean, with some stains on the sheets. The bathroom was slippery and there was no mat offered.

Staying near the visitor center, this hotel is convenient for those who want to explore the area. The location is perfect for those who want to go shopping and eating. The room is basic, but comfortable enough. The bathroom is clean and has a small bathtub. The staff is helpful and friendly, making you feel welcome. The breakfast is good enough, with a variety of Chinese dishes available.
One downside is that the room does not have air-conditioning, which can be uncomfortable during the summer months.

We had a great stay in this hotel located in the heart of the Alishan Recreation Area. It was easy to access all major attractions like the sunrise train and nearby peaks. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very helpful in assisting with transportation and providing wake-up calls for the sunrise. Additionally, the parking was hassle-free and the breakfast was a great start to the day.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Gau Shan Ching. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the bus station and other attractions. The staff at the counter were friendly and provided helpful information about the area. The family room I stayed in was basic but clean, and amenities such as towels, slippers, and toiletries were provided. I appreciated the hot and cold water dispenser in the corridor, which made it easy to get a drink or make a quick snack. The free WiFi had a good signal, allowing me to stay connected with friends and family. The breakfast, although simple, included some of my favorite dishes like porridge with pickles and salted eggs. The hotel van also provided a convenient shuttle service to the bus station when I checked out. I had a satisfactory experience at Gau Shan Ching and would recommend it to others.
